These photos were taken in Hinche. The youngest children are in cribs lined up in several rooms and they reach for you to touch them and hold them. There are about a half a dozen women who are in charge of feeding and changing cloth diapers. Many have diseases and are dehydrating because of diahrea. The one little girl laying in the crib above was too weak to lift her head. You can see the effects of malnutrition in her boney legs and bloated stomach.
